Live
Drawing

Offering live drawing has been a valuable addition to my profession as a freelance illustrator. It allows me to engage directly with my audience, whether by creating portraits, personalised mementos, or mural painting. It's always a joy to see people's faces light up when they see my work come to life.

FAQ

  • Do guests have to pose for the portraits?

No, I take pictures of the guests so they can enjoy the event and collect their portraits at the end.

  • How many drawings can you make per hour?

This depends on the subject matter. For solo portraits, it typically takes up to 20 minutes, while duos may take around 30 minutes. Objects such as flowers, furniture, clothing, and food can be drawn in just 10 minutes.

  • Do you travel for live drawing jobs?

Certainly, I will only need to charge extra for travel and accommodation expenses.

  • Do you supply your own materials?

Yes, I do. I work on high-quality acid-free paper. If needed, I can supply paper with your initials or logo printed on it.

  • What kind of workstation do you need?

A table of at least 1 meter by 1 meter, ample lighting and two electrical outlets.

  • How much does it cost?

Each project is unique, and the costs vary depending on factors such as the number of portraits, subject matter, size, materials, and other additional requirements from the client.
